Flush means the door and jamb (doorframe) are at the same level. Offset means the distance between the door and jamb (doorframe).

Strike A for Flush to 3/8" Offset at a height of 1".

Strike C for 3/4" to 1-1/4" Offset at a height of 1-3/4".

Strike D&E for 7/8" to 1-1/4" Offset at a height of 1-3/4".
